Connecting Community for Safety

Connecting Community for Safety

The City of Edmonton and Edmonton Police Services are teaming up with community and organizational partners to address crime concerns in the neighbourhood. Join us! We are hosting a “Connecting Community for Safety” night on March 17, 2016 from 6:30-9pm at 9210 118 Ave NW, Edmonton, with light supper provided. At this event we will share the details of this project and how we hope to help community members take action against crime. As a part of the project, we are providing lawn signs to committed community members who want to show their investment in their communities. By putting up a lawn sign, you will be showing those who commit crime, that this neighbourhood is connected, resilient, and will call to report suspicious behaviour. Our goal is to aide in connecting neighbours and communities to take action against crime as a collective. The signs will provide a visual of this connection.  If you are interested in participating or learning more please attend our event on March 17, 2016.
